It’s Official: OhVarsity Is The (Second) Best

Well folks, something we’ve long suspected has been confirmed: OhVarsity! is bringing the second best sports coverage in the city.

The readers of CityBeat made their voices heard and determined that our ragtag team is not quite as good as 700 WLW, but still better than everything else. I’ll gladly take second place in this one.

Jokes aside, this is absolutely crazy. I’d like to thank our voting body, which largely consisted of myself, Matt, and Greg Hoodin. The fact that people who do this out of passion and not intelligence were able to receive any kind of recognition is not lost on me. This is beautiful.

Thanks for making this all possible. We’ll do everything we can to continue being really good, but not quite the best.
